Another near perfect evening for bowls brought 24 teams out on to our wonderful Payneham greens. You have to love late summer in Adelaide…what a joy!!
Results… some big scores and no close games. The person organising the draw needs to lift his game…wait a minute …that would be me.
- Lowest winning score of 28 points and 6 shots up which is a relatively high score went to The Reillys.
- 7 teams Falcons, Bald and Beautiful, St Peters Boys, Just For Fun, Lupi, Rolling Stones, Sparkling Reds and The 4 Amigos all scored 30 points or more which are all very good scores.
Ladder has once again re-arranged itself and is taking on an unfamiliar look. This might the year of the upset. Stay tuned.
You had to be good to win tonight. Winners of the night with a very impressive score of 33 points and 27 shots up were Just For Fun. Well done Sally, Lee, Helmut and Bob. Second time this team has come out on top…don’t be fooled by the name.
Resting toucher went late with Len from The Dreamers taking the prize. Well done Len and watch for Len’s smiling face on our Wall of Fame.
Jackpot number of + 32. Normally not a chance however with this week’s big results…still not a chance. Next week 125 bucks up for grabs. Well worth staying back for.
