Welcome Night Owls to season 2023/2024.
What a beautiful night that was had by the teams that participated this week. We had 2 new teams start and all our old favourites returned. Welcome to The Mighty Kiwis and Benevento! WE hope you enjoyed your first night.
Results across the board were a mix of some close ones and some bigger results
- There were 4 teams to score in the 30s, Latecomers, Gamblers, St Peters Boys and 3 Plus 1.
- The rest of the winner were between 27 and 29 points.
As it’s only the beginning of the season, there’s plenty of time for all teams to improve to their scores.
Winners of the night on a score of 33 points and 29 shots up were Latecomers. Well done Sue, Nigel, Val and Denis. Keep up the good bowls.
Resting toucher went early with Leonardo from one of our new teams, Benevento, taking the prize. Watch for Leonardo’s smiling face on our Wall of Fame.
Jackpot number of draw was going to be hard to sell. We had the Falcons (+1) and Just for Fun (-1) close Next week 50 bucks up for grabs. Make sure you stay for a drink to claim your prize.
