An almost perfect night for bowls brought 25 full teams out onto our wonderful Payneham greens. Summer has arrived and what a difference it makes with the warmer weather bringing out the smiles and some very good bowling
Very interesting ladder with no unbeaten teams after just 3 rounds. There is less than 1 game separating the top 16 teams. This must be the most open start to the competition we have ever had.
We had some big scores with The 4 Amigos, The Sparkling Reds and The St Peter’s Boys on 31 points which is a good score…but not good enough. This week’s winner was Just For Fun with a very impressive score of 32 points and 22 shots up. Well done Lee, Sally, Helmut and Bob. Great to see this prize being shared around with all teams a chance to win the night.
You had to be quick for resting toucher tonight. You know you are in for a good night your first bowl is a resting toucher. Well done Bernie from The Sparkling Reds whose smiling face once again graces the Wall Of Fame.
