With an exceptional night for bowls we had 18 teams out on our beautiful greens and ready for another round of night owls bowling.
All eyes were on rink 18 for the shoot-out between The Couldabeens and Marche
Couldabeens out the blocks early for a 8 zip lead after the first 4 ends. Game tightened however and after 9 ends score was tied at 10 shots each.
Couldabeens back in front 13 to 11 with only 2 ends to play. But as they say it ain’t over til the fat lady sings. Marche dug deep and won the last 2 ends with a 4 and a 3 to come out eventual winners 18 to 13 still undefeated and firmly entrenched at the top of the table.
Well done, Claudio, Fred, Saturno and Naz. Another top game.
The winners of the night were San Marco with a very healthy 31 points and 19 shots up. Congratulations to Tony, Dion and Vic.
