On an almost perfect night to be outdoors brought 20 teams out once again onto the beautiful Payneham greens.
Slowly the teams are returning and hopefully with new policies in place we will be back to our usual turn out.
Early days in the competition with a lot of close results. Nearly half of the games were decided by only 1 end. Talk about close.
The nightly winner result was once again a near run thing. Two teams on 29 points with only shot difference separating the two
- The Falcons (welcome back) ended up with 29 points but only 6 shots up
- Clear winners with a relatively modest score of 29 points but a healthy margin of 18 shots were the ever reliable 4 Amigos. Well done to Tony, James, Francis and David.
Resting toucher went to Rosco from The Reillys. Watch for Rosco’s smiling face on our Wall of Fame.
Jackpot number was – 9. We had hits all round this margin closest being Team Euro with – 10. Close…but not close enough… so 90 bucks up for grabs next week.
