Nice warm night brought a full complement of 26 teams out onto our wonderful Payneham greens for another round of night bowls.
Mystery round saw the usual draw turned on its head with some apparent mismatches, replays and interesting combinations. Certainly makes for a night where anything can happen and quite often does.
No draws which is a bit unusual given the results of the past 2 weeks. Some high scores were recorded and some well credentialed teams were given real scares.
Overall winners of the night were The Rolling Stones. This team is hitting some fine form just as the race for the top spot is hotting up. Well done to Troy, Steve, Paul and Simon.
Once again you had be quick for the resting toucher tonight. Prize went to John from The Bad Bias Boys. We are experiencing some technical issues with printing but…as they say…watch this space.
