Another near perfect night to be outdoors brought 22 teams out for another round of Night Owls on our beautiful Payneham greens.
We had another team returning from a year off. Welcome back to Lee’s Legends Good luck, bowl well and enjoy the competition
Big range of scores with some unexpected results. No really close scores with the smallest margin being a very modest 4 shots and the largest margin being a healthy 24 shots.
Winners of the night were the Honolulu Hounds who improved immensely from last week’s performance. A massive 28 point turn around. Well done to Morry, John, Nunz and Harry. Keep up the good work.
First resting toucher of the night went really early…on only the 4th bowl of the night. Well done to Lee from Just For Fun. Lee is a regular for this event and once again her smiling face will grace our Wall of Fame.
Honorable mention must go to Bernie from The Sparkling Reds. Bernie ended up with 2 resting touchers on the same end…albeit with a little assistance. Later in the game another resting toucher and his second bowl only millimetres from the jack. Sign him up for the State squad!!!
Oh…..and Bruno keep trying and maybe one day your face will grace the Wall
Jackpot number was +35. Gee you would have had to be good to win by that margin and no-one was anywhere near… so 75 bucks up for grabs next week.
